About this place
Part of the pleasure of chirashi sushi is taking in the toppings arranged across the bowl and savouring them bite by bite. Diners have praised the colourful presentation of the chirashi they ordered at Tsuruya Sushi for lunch, as well as the range and generous portions of toppings. The menu lists standard, medium, premium and special chirashi. Reported prices are ¥1,750, ¥2,350, ¥2,900 and ¥3,500, respectively; prices may change. Choose the standard bowl for a more affordable option, or the premium or special if you’re after a more substantial meal.
Nigiri sushi is also available, from the standard selection at ¥1,750 to the special at ¥3,500. Choosing nigiri or chirashi gives a sushi lunch a different feel, whether you prefer individual pieces or a bowl with an assortment of toppings. One diner also enjoyed the shijimi clam miso soup at lunch, a tempting choice alongside the sushi. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is suitable for dining alone.
The listed menu also includes maki rolls such as ume-shiso and cucumber. Tsuruya Sushi accepts cash only, so be sure to bring it along.
